The 8th Meeting of the China-Japan-Korea Committee for Promoting Exchange and Cooperation among Universities was held on February 18, 2025, in Beijing, China. Deputy Secretary-General of TCS YAN Liang attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting brought together committee members from three countries’ education ministries, national higher education quality assurance organizations, and CAMPUS Asia university representatives. Discussions focused on the direction of the CAMPUS Asia program under Mode 4, digital transformation in higher education, and the interview and survey results of the CAMPUS Asia.
In his speech, YAN Liang highlighted TCS’s achievements in supporting the CAMPUS Asia Project, including hosting the CAMPUS Asia Alumni Workshop four times and maintaining close contact with CAMPUS Asia universities. He emphasized that the CAMPUS Asia program injects vitality and momentum into education in the three countries and across Asia as a whole.
The participating organizations include the Chinese Ministry of Education, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Education, the China Higher Education Evaluation Center, Japan’s National Institute for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation (NIAD-QE), the Korean Council for University Education, and CAMPUS Asia universities. The 9th Committee Meeting is scheduled to take place in the Republic of Korea.
