Mechanisms 5th Tripartite Forum on Aging in Jeju, ROK 2015.12.16 ~ 2015.12.17
The 5th Tripartite Forum on Aging was held in Jeju, ROK from December 16 to 17, 2015. The Forum was attended by the delegations of the three countries headed respectively by Mr. LEE Dong Uk, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the ROK, Mr. HIROKI Hamaya, Councilor for the Minister of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan, and Mr. HE Zhaohua, Deputy Director-General of the National Health Family Planning Commission of China. The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) attended the Forum as an observer. 

At the Forum, the three Parties shared information and views on the issues of 1) long-term care insurance system for enhancing the life quality of the elderly and 2) the ways to develop aging friendly industry for the response to aging society. The three Parties reaffirmed to further promote their cooperation in population aging by renewing the Memorandum of Cooperation on Aging Society. After the Forum, the delegations had an on-site visits to senior welfare & care centers in Jeju. 

The next Forum will be held in Japan, 2016.
