On 27 September 2023, Ms. WU Zhijuan, Deputy Director-General of Chengdu Foreign Affairs Office paid a courtesy visit to Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup of Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat.
Secretary-General LEE appreciated Chengdu for its generous support to the Trilateral Youth Summit 2023, one of the TCS’ flagship youth events held in August 2023. He spoke highly of Chengdu’s development and cosmopolitan features and expressed support for the city’s efforts to expand trilateral local government relations.
Deputy Director-General WU appreciated TCS’s trust for the partnership with Chengdu and showed expectations to collaborate more in the future on projects related to culture and economy.
The two sides agreed to continue close communication to explore tangible cooperation opportunities.
