The 2023 High-level Forum for RCEP Economic and Trade Cooperation was held on June 29, 2023 in Qingdao, China. Secretary- General OU Boqian of the TCS delivered remarks at the opening ceremony. Representatives from the governments and businesses of the RCEP Member countries attended the ceremony. 

During her remarks, SG OU pointed out that the RCEP framework has yielded significant benefits to member countries, and its cumulative rules of origin have promoted the trade of intermediate goods and enhanced supply chain resilience and investment flexibility. She also mentioned the challenges of geopolitical interference in economic activities and insufficient capacity building of ASEAN countries, which were discussed by many experts during the RCEP seminar organized by TCS. She further suggested CJK and all the RCEP member countries work together under the open and inclusive multilateralism principle, and cooperate in emerging economic sectors, including the digital economy, green economy, blue economy, crossborder e-commerce, and recreational industry, to inject more vitality to regional economy. 

After the forum, SG OU accepted interviews with China Central Radio and Television (CCTV) and Qingdao Television to share her views on the cooperation between CJK under the RCEP framework. 

The 2023 High-level Forum for RCEP Economic and Trade Cooperation, organized by Shandong Provincial People's Government and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, centered on the theme of “Collaborating for Common Prosperity”, invited government officials, representatives from trade and investment promotion agencies, envoys to China, research institutes, and representatives from enterprises to exchange views on economic and trade cooperation and complementary advantages of RCEP-related countries.
