The 2023 Japan-ROK (Qingdao) Imports Expo was held from June 21 to 23, 2023 in Qingdao, China. Secretary-General OU Boqian of the TCS delivered remarks at the opening ceremony via video. Representatives from the governments and businesses of the three countries attended the ceremony.
During her remarks, SG OU emphasized the pivotal role of Qingdao in trade and economic cooperation among the three countries. She highlighted the city's established economic partnerships with various cities in Japan and ROK, which have facilitated regular economic and trade interactions, cultural exchanges, and fruitful cooperation across various domains. Qingdao’s contributions to Trilateral Cooperation have been significant.
The Japan-ROK (Qingdao) Imports Expo has been held annually since 2018. The 2023 Expo showcased products in AI, beauty, food and agricultural products, and healthcare.
