On September 7, 2012, the TCS Secretary-General Amb. Shin Bong-kil gave a lecture on the TCS’ role in trilateral cooperation at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington D.C., U.S. The lecture was coordinated by Prof. Kent Calder, Director of Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies, and was attended by many students with keen interest in issues in East Asia.
In the lecture, Amb. Shin underscored the importance of trilateral cooperation and the integral role of the TCS in the process and drew enthusiastic response from the participants. After the lecture, the participants engaged in a lively discussion on the implication of trilateral cooperation.
