Seminar & Forum Track II Dialogue on Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) held in Seoul, ROK

The TCS hosted its second round of Track II Dialogue on Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) in Seoul on 3 June, 2015. The Dialogue invited scholars from other regional security organizations such as OSCE and NATO to share their perspectives and learn the lessons from their experiences in building CBMs. The Dialogue also promoted in-depth exploration of the region-specific CBMs for Northeast Asia with the participation of scholars from Japan, China and the ROK including those who have military background. Building on the discussions conducted in the first round of Dialogue held in Tokyo last year, the participants of this year focused on working out a way to create concrete CBMs, particularly, for the prevention of maritime and air conflicts in Northeast Asia.
