TC Activities TCS participated in the Trilateral Young Officers Exchange Program

Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) participated in the 1st Trilateral Young Officers Exchange Program, organized by Ministry of Foreign Affair of China. During the program, delegation consisting of 27 officials from different Ministries of China, Japan and ROK visited China Institute for International Studies (CIIS) and Global Times to exchanged opinions on various issues, etc., trilateral cooperation in the field of politic, economic and social-cultural affairs, importance of Trilateral Cooperation Fund (TCF) and the media’s role in promoting trilateral cooperation and suggestions for the Trilateral Journalist Exchange program. Delegations also visited Qingdao and exchanged view on trilateral cooperation with local government.
This program is a follow-up of the agreements included in Joint Declaration to “continue exchange programs for government officials” reached by the three leaders in the Sixth Trilateral Summit held on 1 November 2015.
