On February 17, 2016, Secretary-General YANG Houlan had a lunch meeting with PARK Seijong, Director of Finance and Economy, Seongnam City Hall, ROK and exchanged opinions on Seongnam’s possible commitment to trilateral economic and cultural cooperation.
SG YANG introduced the recent achievements of trilateral cooperation in the field of local governments, and emphasized on the local governments’ important roles in bolstering trilateral cooperation. Director PARK elaborated on Seongnam’s active involvement in the cultural cooperation with Chinese Embassy to ROK, especially in the area of sports, and said that Seongnam City would like to play a more active role in trilateral cooperation, by expanding the current bilateral cooperation with China into the trilateral scope.
After the meeting, SG YANG and the TCS delegation visited Commax Co., Ltd, and attended a briefing on the company’s establishment, representative products and the economic partnership with Changchun Province, China, etc.
