Others Chief Representative for China & Northeast Asia, Director-General for Beijing Office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Visited TCS 2025-02-13

On February 13, 2025, a delegation led by Mr. ONODERA Osamu, Chief Representative for China & Northeast Asia and Director-General of the Beijing Office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), visited the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) and met with Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup and Deputy Secretary-General ZUSHI Shuji. 

SG LEE provided an overview of TCS projects to be held in China this year and shared insights into the current state of CJK economic cooperation. He also highlighted key discussions at the 9th Trilateral Summit, emphasizing the commitments made by the three governments. 

DSG ZUSHI introduced the upcoming TCS Economic Seminar, scheduled to be held in China this year, and expressed TCS’s interest in collaborating with JETRO China on the event. He also requested JETRO’s support in connecting with Japanese companies interested in CJK cooperation. 

Mr. ONODERA elaborated on his role as Chief Representative for China & Northeast Asia and shared insights into the situation of Japanese entrepreneurs operating in China. He underscored the significance of CJK economic collaboration and emphasized TCS’s role in facilitating regional cooperation. 

Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation and fostering stronger economic ties among the three countries.
