Seminar & Forum TCS SG LEE Hee-sup delivered remark at the 2024 China-Japan-ROK Young Entrepreneurs Dialogue on Development & Cooperation

On 24 October 2024, the 2024 China-Japan-ROK Young Entrepreneurs Dialogue on Development & Cooperation, hosted by the All-China Youth Federation and the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, was held in Shenyang, China. Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) delegation led by Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup attended the Dialogue. The event brought together more than 100 representatives of the government officials and young entrepreneurs from the three countries.
In his remarks at the opening ceremony, SG LEE highlighted the United Nations Summit of the Future held in September and the 9th Trilateral Summit in May, underscoring the critical importance of investing in the social and economic development of young people. He emphasized that communication among younger generations fosters trust and friendship, which serve as foundations for trilateral cooperation. Confronted with global challenges such as climate change, geopolitical instability, technological transformation, and notably, an aging population, SG LEE stressed the need to stimulate creativity and encourage collaboration among young entrepreneurs from the three countries. He also introduced the TCS’s programs and expressed TCS's commitment to fostering trilateral youth cooperation.
During the interview with CCTV, CGTN, People’s Daily, and Xinhua News, SG LEE praised the Dialogue of building a platform for practical collaboration among the three countries, and encouraged young entrepreneurs to deepen their communication, share their creativity, and contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
