On July 17, 2024, TCS Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup paid a courtesy visit to Prof. KAWAGUCHI Daiji, the Dean of the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP).
Secretary-General LEE expressed his gratitude for co-hosting the 2024 Regional Economic Cooperation Seminar. He also appreciated the University of Tokyo’s active participation in youth exchange projects, including the CAMPUS Asia program and alumni workshops, the Trilateral Youth Speech Contest, and the Trilateral Youth Summit. He also conveyed his appreciation for sending outstanding students to the TCS as interns and his hope to strengthen the TCS and GraSPP partnership further.
Dean KAWAGUCHI stated that he was honored to cooperate with the TCS and promote exchanges among Chinese, Japanese, and Korean students. He welcomed the Ninth ROK-JAPAN-China Trilateral Summit in May, which agreed to significantly expand the number of students joining the CAMPUS Asia Program. Furthermore, he emphasized that student exchanges serve as the foundation for relations between the countries, and the University of Tokyo will work hard with the TCS in the future.
