Seminar & Forum Participation in the 60th East Asia Business Council Meeting

On 13-14 June 2024, the 60th East Asia Business Council Meeting was held in Seoul. Representatives from ASEAN+3 business associations participated in the meeting. TCS representatives attended the working group meeting held on 13 June and delivered a presentation.
During the presentation, program officer XIE Tianyi provided an overview of the history and development of Trilateral Cooperation and introduced TCS’s initiatives and programs focusing on MSMEs. In particular, the Trilateral Entrepreneurs Forum (TEF) and the Trilateral Women Startup Program (TWSP) were introduced. The main target groups of these two programs include medium and small-scale businesses, startups, and women entrepreneurs. The participants showed great interest in the activities carried out by TCS and hoped that TCS could establish more cooperation with ASEAN countries in the future, especially in the areas of investment and trade for MSMEs.
The EABC was inaugurated in 2004, endorsed by ASEAN+3 leaders. Its objective is to strengthen cooperation among ASEAN+3 private sectors as well as promote intraregional trade and investment, and further enhance the work and initiatives of ASEAN+3 cooperation.
