2018年2月7日，第四届中日韩三国合作秘书处（简称秘书处）协商委员会在北京集体拜会国家卫生计生委张扬司长。双方就三国在卫生领域的合作交换了意见。
张扬司长回顾了三国在中日韩机制下卫生领域合作取得的成果，她建议三国不断深化在新发再发传染病预防等传统领域的合作，并希望秘书处在建立三国卫生部门沟通平台等方面给予支持。
李钟宪秘书长积极评价三国卫生部门为完善卫生合作机制做所的努力，表示秘书处愿为进一步深化三国卫生合作提供全力支持。
